Welcome to the Green Urban FAQ! Do you live in a small space, have limited space to store your waste, or are you driven crazy by the fact that the municipality only visits once every two weeks? Don't worry: we're happy to help!

1. What makes Green Urban different from the regular municipal waste collection service?

With Green Urban, you no longer have to wait for municipal collection day. We simply come to you when you want, ring the doorbell, and collect your closed garbage bag from the location you specify—for example, your hallway, entrance hall, or storage room. Super convenient, no smell, no mess, no vermin. Simply convenient.

2. Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

Yes, of course! You can change your subscription at any time through your own customer portal. The change will take effect starting with the next billing period.

3. How long am I tied to a subscription?

We keep it as flexible as possible. The minimum term is one month, after which you can simply adjust or cancel your subscription monthly.

4. Where do I put my garbage bag?

When you register, you'll tell us once where we can pick up your bag. For example:

  • behind your front door
  • in the hallway
  • in the entrance hall
  • in the storage room

Our employees will only come to the location you have specified, and they will work quickly and discreetly.

5. What time will my waste be collected?

You choose your own collection day and time slot. You can select a half-hour time slot each time, giving us some flexibility in certain circumstances and ensuring your waste is collected when it should be.

6. Which garbage bags should I use?

You can simply use a normal, well-sealed residual waste bag .

  • Basic Subscription: 1 bag at a time
  • Plus Subscription: up to 2 bags at a time

7. What if I forget to pack my bag?

That can happen, of course. If the bag isn't there, we'll skip the collection that week. This collection won't be made up or compensated, because we plan our routes in advance.

8. How does payment work?

Your payment is processed via direct debit. This means we'll automatically debit the agreed-upon amount from your account each month. So don't worry, everything happens automatically.

9. Is the price all-inclusive?

Yes, everything is included in one fixed monthly fee. This includes both our collection service and the final, sustainable waste processing.

10. Where do we provide this service?

We currently offer our service in Maastricht and approximately 10 km outside of Maastricht .
